Search Options
- Case sensitive: When enabled, "Fox" and "fox" are treated as different. When disabled, they are considered the same.
- Whole word only: When enabled, only complete words are matched. For example, searching for "fox" will not match "firefox".
This tool is useful for:
- Finding all instances of a specific term in a document
- Counting occurrences of words or phrases
- Identifying patterns in text
- Preparing for batch replacements
- Analyzing keyword density in content
Note:
In a real code editor, this feature would select all occurrences for simultaneous editing. This web version demonstrates the concept by highlighting the occurrences and providing a count.
